Hi Chris and Patty –
Saw Dorothy, Jennifer and family at Mandy's grad party yesterday so I caught up on the news. I knew the surgery was imminent, but had not known it had already taken place. It took me right back to Jonathon's surgery so many years ago. It is so hard to hand that baby over at that final moment – even when you know it is going to help so much. I am glad that part is over. Now you can concentrate on the exciting journey of "sound". She is so lucky to have you for parents and you are so lucky to have so many friends and family (emphasis on "many") who love and support you. Don't forget to reach out and lean on us – we are standing over here wanting to help in the worst way!!! Just let us know how….
